Islam jest religią pokoju, co widać choćby po tym, że od początku 2020 r. do 3 kwietnia miało miejsce 410 ataków umotywowanych religijnie w 34 krajach, przy czym zamordowano na ofiarę dla Allaha 2386 osób, a kolejnych 2003 zostało rannych – jak podaje strona TheReligionOfPeace. W tych statystykach nie są uwzględniane ofiary działań wojennych. W samym tylko marcu zaangażowani religijnie muzułmanie zamordowali 681 osób, a 623 zostało rannych (tabela poniżej). Rzecz jasna, wśród zabitych jest większość muzułmanów, których inni muzułmanie uznali za niewiernych, zgodnie z wielowiekową tradycją wzajemnego wyniszczania szyitów i sunnitów. Na przykład 14 marca szyici zbombardowali sunnicki szpital w Jemenie, zabijając 8 osób, zaś sunnici zamordowali lekarza szyickiego w Pakistanie 30 marca. W tym obszarze zdecydowanie przoduje Afganistan, gdzie np. muzułmański uczony został zamordowany razem z dzieckiem 29 marca w miejscowości Sarband za to, że nie był wystarczająco gorliwym muzułmaninem, podobnie jak dwóch innych uczonych muzułmańskich, wysadzonych w powietrze 28 marca w Lal Pur. W Afganistanie też, gdzie już praktycznie nie ma chrześcijan, coraz częściej mają miejsce ataki na Sikhów: 25 marca zbombardowano ich świątynię zabijając 27 osób, a następnego dnia zaatakowano uczestników pogrzebu ofiar. Możemy zauważyć, że nadal działa ISIS w Iraku (np. zabójstwo czterech szyitów 14 marca), a także w Egipcie (ścięcie dwóch osób 5 marca).

Wśród ataków na chrześcijan należy wymienić zmasakrowanie trzech osób, któremu towarzyszyło podpalenie kilku kościołów przez tłum muzułmanów w Gwinei 29 marca. Postępuje krwawa islamizacja Somalii, Nigerii i Mozambiku – w tych krajach są dziesiątki ofiar. W Turcji natomiast nieliczna pozostająca po masakrach sprzed stu lat grupa rdzennych chrześcijan Asyryjczyków doznała kolejnej tragedii: 20 marca znaleziono zwłoki porwanej jakiś czas wcześniej matki księdza.
